New community and leisure facilities, including a new five screen Picturehouse cinema set within the reimagined Grade II listed Former Covered Market, along with bars, cafés and restaurants. A new public square in the centre of the site will be accessible to all and has been flexibly designed to allow a variety of uses.

Improved connectivity, by opening up pedestrian and cycle routes to link north & south of Plumstead Road. The development has been designed to be sustainable - it is close to the forthcoming Elizabeth Line, will benefit from new green spaces, and will use a low-temperature district energy network, which will keep carbon emissions low.

New housing on Parry Place

Multi-tenure homes and workspaces with 801 new high-quality homes in a range of sizes, including 158 affordable homes.  The regeneration will provide new facilities for businesses and other leisure and community uses such as a gym and children’s nursery.

A reimagined Woolwich New Road

Respect for the area’s heritage. As well as the repurposing of the Former Covered Market, our plans will restore and refurbish core elements of the historic buildings on Woolwich New Road. These will provide new homes as well as quality retail units.
